3500 years ago, Olivine was found in ancient Egypt, which is the cradle of ‘jewel in the Sun’ or ‘Emeralds in the Twilight’ -- Olivine.

Standing for peace, happiness and tranquility, Olivine was used as a token of truce and peace among tribes in the ancient times. Olivines were also decorated on the temples in Jerusalem.

With the hardness of 6.5, Olivine needs some protection against abrasion. Coming from peridotite which is one of the constituents of mantle, most Olivine is born with a lot of impurities. The most high-quality Olivine is originated from Zabargad in Egypt which give birth to the deep green Olivine stones.
